• Welcome, nice to meet you!

I'm Han, an award-winning artist with a degree in Art History from UC Berkeley, where I probably spent as much time raiding on World of Warcraft as I did studying in the library. My style blends historical influences with geek culture... think traditional techniques with a gamer’s heart.

  • After college, I spent 17 years in corporate marketing in the biotech and medical devices sector. Eventually, I realized it was time to pivot and do what I love. Now I paint, design, and create anything that inspires me—usually a mix of gaming, fantasy, and real life, with an old school flair. This shop is where it all comes together.

A Tribute to Dreamers

The name "Starlit Studio" is a tribute to my younger self, a dreamer who found comfort under the night sky. The stars provided a sense of continuity during transitional points in my life and they were a reminder to continue dreaming during trying times. Stars can't shine without darkness.

Art That Connects

One of the most rewarding parts of being an artist is hearing from collectors. Some share how a piece resonated with them unexpectedly, while others tell me their custom pet portrait brought comfort during a time of loss. These stories are a reminder that I create to offer more than just artwork, I create to honor personal connections and lasting memories.
