This painting is a collaboration with my 10-year-old son. He selected the colors, poured the paint onto canvas, and used a blow dryer to guide its movement. As the paint settled, I took inspiration from the patterns that appeared and painted imagery over the background, staying true to his creation.
A jellyfish drifts through the dark, built up with layered tones of blue, violet, and green. Its movement is slow and fluid, with soft edges that give it a quiet presence.
Painted in acrylic on canvas, the piece focuses on contrast and depth, letting the form emerge naturally from the background. It’s a simple study of light, motion, and atmosphere.
