This painting is a collaboration with my 10-year-old son. He selected the colors, poured the paint onto canvas, and used a blow dryer to guide its movement. As the paint settled, I took inspiration from the patterns that appeared and painted imagery over the background, staying true to his creation.
Tree of Life brings together organic structure and fluid movement. A stylized tree sits at the center, surrounded by layered, abstract color created through poured paint techniques.
The background is built with acrylic pours, creating natural patterns and texture. The tree is then defined over it with controlled linework, giving the piece a balance between structure and spontaneity.
Original painting has sold - giclée canvas prints offer the closest look and texture to the original painting.
